This one-day vocal jazz workshop (9 AM – 6 PM) is sponsored by AzACDA and designed exclusively for teachers and college or university music students – especially music education majors! Features of the workshop:

• All participants rehearse and co-conduct the Teacher Choir
• Jazz reading sessions with published music from Anchor Music Publications, independent publishers, and more
• Breakout sessions catering to teachers and music education students
• Lunch is on your own, but an off-site lunch spot (Pedal Haus Brewery) has been designated for all to eat together and connect!
• A final collaboration featuring The Nash Vocal Ensemble, High Altitude from Northern Arizona University, and the Teacher Choir!
• Academy T-shirts available for pre-order, or on site!

Teacher Track ($75) – Registration includes publisher reading packets, choir music and all handouts, as well as a Certificate of Professional Development.

Up to nine hours of Professional Development will be certified through Arizona ACDA!

Music Student Track ($45) – Registration includes publisher reading packets, choir music and all handouts

*Must be currently enrolled as a Music major at a college or university (or have graduated within one year) to receive discounted registration rate. Not eligible for Professional Development certificate.

Online pre-registration will close on the Tuesday before the workshop, but walk-up registration will be available on-site (walk-up participants will receive all reading materials, etc, digitally instead of printed; recommend to bring a device)
